No, my friends, indeed.com is where its at.
Meanwhile I have filed for and gained a whole $275/week unemployment filing which truly is a huge paycut, so I will have to take any funds I have from my 401(k) and apply it to the mortgage payment.
Meanwhile, I have to look at what leads I have.
My husband works for the government and has a manager who wants him to succeed. If I'm bringing him down, that won't work. So the manager has agreed to review my resume and attempt to get me on. So I have one lead. Luckily my experience is in exactly in the field they have their forte in.
However, it is not my intention to work with my husband. No, that's how we met, actually, and once is enough. Apparently the good news is that after 90 days, the sky's the limit within the federal government. Any position, that you qualify for, that is, any position is up for grabs. Good news, I guess.
Ultimately, its the only lead I have. I have applied for many positions, many many positions. Nothing I didn't think I could actually get and some I wish I wouldn't get. Still, I have a family, a house, and little else to care for and success is mandatory.
After I am done here, I will begin writing on my novel which I am 3/4 done with.
If I can sell it on Amazon for small change and get someone to do a snazzy cover for cheap, then I am able to sell maybe one or two to people who have read everything... well, then its something, no?
Still, anything is better than nothing and that's what I get if I do nothing. So, action is the watch word. Go, go, go!
Love to you all.
